Re: No Hub Pipe & Fittings Special Announcement
Dear Customer,
After thorough and extended deliberation, the management of Matco-Norca (M-N) has made the decision to exit the cast iron soil pipe and fittings product category effective immediately.
The company’s decision to exit this product category was the result of a year long comprehensive review of all markets and product categories within the framework of aligning our core competencies with our product offering. The inherent volatility of this product category leads us to believe that we can effectively redeploy our assets (time, money and manpower) in a more productive manner to service and grow our mutual fittings and valve business.
Matco-Norca will continue to accept purchase orders for this product line until March 27, 2009. We would ask that these purchase orders not exceed 1/12th of prior year’s purchases, while your current pricing and freight allowances will remain in effect.
We are extremely grateful for your past support and we would appreciate hearing from you with any questions or comments. Therefore, please feel free to contact your local sales representative, M-N customer service or M-N sales management.
