Section 301 Tariffs / Price Increase |
|
In September 2018, the US Department of Commerce imposed 10% tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods as part of Section 301. This tariff impacts a wide range of products including many items offered by Matco-Norca. On Friday May 10, 2019 the US Department of Commerce announced the escalation of Section 301 tariffs from 10% to 25%.
Due to the impact of the Section 301 tariff escalation, Matco-Norca will be implementing the following price increases effective June 3, 2019.

Orders placed prior to June 3, 2019 will be honored at current pricing. Matco-Norca will not be able to extend price protection, grace periods or honor back orders at the old price. We will send out an updated announcement once price sheets are available for download from our website.
